The Beach Boys new album : "That's Why God Made The Radio"

Here are some tracks from the album:

Slash joins Ozzy and Geezer Butler to perform Black Sabbath classic

The former Guns N’ Roses guitarist is currently sitting in on select dates with the Ozzy Osbourne & Friends Tour, which is currently working its way through Europe. Also on stage with Slash and Ozzy are Black Sabbath bassistGeezer Butler and longtime Ozzy guitarist Zakk Wylde. Other unnamed special guests are also expected to join the tour at various stops.
The Ozzy Osbourne & Friends Tour was originally scheduled to be Black Sabbath’s reunion tour, but Tony Iommi‘s battle with lymphoma forced the change. Instead, Black Sabbath will only play at the Download Festival in Leicestershire, England this Sunday (June 10) and Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 3. Black Sabbath also played a warm-up show three weeks ago in their hometown of Birmingham, England, and, according to Ozzy, they have 15 songs written for their new album.

Queen,Elton John to perform at Euro 2012 Finals

Queen aren’t playing a ton of dates with interim vocalist Adam Lambert this year, but they’re making the most of the ones they do have on the schedule — such as their gig before the Euro 2012 finals in Kiev on June 30, which will find the band joining forces with Elton John.

All that star power is going towards a good cause: proceeds from the show will help support John’s AIDS Foundation and the Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation in their ongoing efforts to combat HIV/AIDS. The two foundations first joined forces in 2007, ramping up their collaboration last year with what a press release calls “a second initiative to the public — a new joint charity project providing prevention and care services for homeless girls and young women who live and work on the streets of Kiev, one in five of whom are living with HIV.”

For the members of Queen, of course, using music to help fund charitable research is nothing new. As the same press release notes, “One of the lasting results of a concert by Queen + Paul Rodgers at the Kharkov Plosha Svobody organized in cooperation with the Mercury Phoenix Trust in September 2008 was a new care centre for HIV-positive children in the Zelenogaisky orphanage in Kharkov which was repaired and renovated using the funds raised the concert.”

This year’s concert, held at Kiev’s Independence Square, is expected to draw a live audience in the hundreds of thousands while reaching millions more via televised broadcast.

ZZ Top new EP

After nine years, ZZ Top finally issue new music on Tuesday as their“Texicali” EP is released.

Produced by Rick Rubin, the four-song set offers a preview of the group’s full-length album, as yet untitled, that will be released late this summer or early fall. Fans purchasing the four songs will benefit from a pro-rated discount on the purchase of the full album when it is released.

“Texicali” features “I Gotsta Get Paid,” “Chartreuse,” “Over You” and“Consumption.”

The first track issued was “I Gotsta Get Paid,” a tune based on the underground 1990s rap song “25 Lighters”; it’s also heard on the soundtrack to the international box office hit “Battleship.”

The Texas rockers are currently bringing some of the new music to fans as they headline the Gang Of Outlaws Tour, with special guests 3 Doors Down; the pair are being joined by Gretchen Wilson on select dates.

Adler to release single

ADLER, the new band led by former GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler, will release its debut single, "The One That You Hated", via iTunes on April 10.

The cover for the single, which was created by the band's guitarist, Lonny Paul, can be seen below.

ADLER will film a video for "The One That You Hated" next week in the Los Angeles area.

In addition to Steven and Lonny, ADLER features Jacob Bunton (LYNAM, MARS ELECTRIC) on vocals/guitar. The group has been recording its debut album in Los Angeles with producers Jeff Pilson (former DOKKEN and current FOREIGNER/TOOTH AND NAIL bassist) and Jay Ruston (ANTHRAX, STEEL PANTHER, ADRENALINE MOB).

ADLER's CD will feature guest appearances by ROB ZOMBIE/ex-MARILYN MANSON guitarist John 5 and Steven's former GUNS N' ROSES bandmate Slash (guitar).

"I love the music that we're creating!" states Adler. "I haven't been this excited about my band since the GN'R days. Jacob is exactly the singer I have been searching for. He has an amazing range and is a great writer and frontman. Lonny is an amazing guitarist and songwriter and the vibe is amazing!" He added, "I'm so excited for everyone to hear this record!"

Steven spent the past several years touring and recording with ADLER'S APPETITE, which played original material alongside cover versions of songs from GUNS' classic debut album, "Appetite For Destruction".

In 2010, Adler collaborated with Slash on the latter's self-titled debut solo album. He appeared on the track "Baby Can't Drive", along with RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS bassist Flea, Alice Cooper and Nicole Scherzinger. The song was featured on an expanded edition of the album released by Classic Rock magazine.

Adler, Slash, bassist Duff McKagan, singer Axl Rose and guitarist Izzy Stradlin will all be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next month in Cleveland, along with later GUNS N' ROSES members, keyboardist Dizzy Reed and drummer Matt Sorum.
